This is a 2 hour class from 7:30pm to 9:30 pm in Foley Street.  The first hour and a half of this class is an open class and is available for all levels to practise and the last 30 minutes of this class is advanced. On occasion we practise weapons work at this class.  The instructor will inform you in advance of this so you can bring your weapons to class.  Do not worry if you not have any weapons we do have spare weapons available.

These classes are from 8:00pm to 9:30pm in DCU.  These classes are open to all levels to work together.

7:00pm to 8:30pm in Foley Street.  We usually run our beginners courses at this class and as such the general level of the classes tends to remain aimed towards beginners but it can range depending on the level of students attending on the night.  If you are looking to start Aikido then this would be the best class to being training.

This class is from 12:30pm to 2:00pm in DCU and is an advanced class.

What Class to Attend?

Students are welcome to attend any of our open classes, from complete beginners to advanced students.  However we do recommend that students learning Aikido for the first time completes one of our beginners courses, which we run frequently.  But if you just missed a beginners course do not let this stop you from joining a class at any time.

Advanced Classes

You do not need to reach a certain grade to attended advanced classes but we do require that the student has reached a certain level of ukemi (falling/rolling).  This just means you must be comfortable with taking ukemi at a slightly faster pace and does not mean you need to know how to perform high ukemi or wear a hakama.  We actually recommend that students attend these classes as soon as they are ready in order to further progress their level of Aikido.  If you feel you are ready to attend a class just ask one of our instructors.
